Descartes MacroPoint OpsForce AI agents reduce friction across the visibility journey by providing critical lift with the most common visibility, tracking and data capture tasks across a load’s lifecycle. These agents activate intelligently and only when needed, ensuring they provide support without creating noise or unnecessary driver or user outreach. 

Each agent is focused on specific operational needs. For example, Debbie, the Driver App Installation Agent, helps drivers install and activate the MacroPoint for Truckers mobile app when they are assigned a tracked load but are not yet connected via an electronic logging device (ELD) or are not already on the mobile app. Other agents troubleshoot tracking gaps, confirm arrivals and departures, retrieve documents, and answer customer questions. 

Across all use cases, Descartes MacroPoint OpsForce helps our customers achieve better visibility while reducing manual effort. OpsForce agents include capabilities that: 

  • Detect when a driver is not connected and assists them with app installation and activation 
  • Support customers by answering common questions and guiding them through help resources 
  • Call drivers if a load does not start tracking, or when a load stops tracking to quickly restore visibility

Many of today’s carriers still remain outside of ELD or TMS connectivity for tracking. Visibility platforms that take an “ELD Plus” strategy, where ELD connections are preferred but validated carriers requiring mobile tracking can still be utilized, expands your capacity and capability to deliver great service to your customers. Enabling an “ELD Plus” strategy requires a streamlined mobile app like MacroPoint for Truckers to deliver driver engagement, tracking continuity, stop accuracy, and timely documentation.
